Why I launched the world’s first egg freezing education platform

Kimberley Caines • July 1, 2025

Today is a very special day.

After years of dreaming about it, I'm finally launching something many of us have needed, wanted, and wished existed: PreservHer - the world's first dedicated egg freezing education platform.

When I froze my eggs in my 20s, it was one of the most empowering decisions I've ever made - and also one of the most overwhelming.

I remember Googling late at night, trying to understand hormone levels, timelines, costs... and wondering why no one was explaining it all in a simple, honest, and supportive way.

I didn't want to be sold to. I just wanted real information - clear, science-based, and free of pressure.

That experience stuck with me. And ever since, I've felt this persistent pull to create the resource I wish I'd had - one that educates without selling, that supports without pushing, and that opens up the conversation around fertility before it becomes urgent.

So I built it.

PreservHer is for any woman who's curious about egg freezing - whether you're in your 20s, 30s or 40s, considering it now, later, or maybe not at all.

It's about having options. About understanding your body. About making empowered decisions on your terms.

You'll find free guides that break things down without the overwhelm, expert webinars, 1:1 consults for personalised support, and a private space to ask questions and share stories.

Everything is built on science and shaped by lived experience - mine included.

Fertility can feel like a hard thing to talk about. But it doesn't have to be.

I believe we deserve more transparency, more support, and more ownership over our reproductive choices - whatever they may be.

If this resonates with you, I'd love for you to follow along, join the community, or share PreservHer with someone who might need it.

So much goes into making a single garment - and it's easy to forget just how many hands, hours, and decisions are involved in creating something that feels simple, soft, and effortless to wear.

This age isn’t just a milestone - it’s a biological marker. A reminder that time matters. For women, fertility isn’t something we can delay indefinitely. It moves forward - even when the rest of our lives aren’t quite ready.
