One year of PreservHer: Why this matters more than ever

Today, PreservHer turns one.
Twelve months ago, I launched what I believed was the world's first dedicated egg freezing education platform.
It wasn't built to convince women to freeze their eggs. It was built to ensure they knew they had the option.
After freezing my own eggs at 28, I realised just how little most women are taught about fertility before they're expected to make some of life's biggest decisions.
I kept thinking: why are so many of us only learning about fertility when we're already feeling the pressure of time?
That question became PreservHer.
Over the past year, I've had the privilege of speaking with thousands of women.
I've heard stories of uncertainty, hope, frustration, empowerment, and resilience.
I've spoken with leading fertility specialists, hosted educational webinars, launched a masterclass, met with policymakers, and partnered with organisations that share the belief that women deserve better access to fertility education.
What has stood out most isn't that women aren't interested in fertility.
It's that they simply haven't been given the information early enough.
Time and time again, I've heard the same words:
"I wish I'd known this sooner."
Those six words continue to drive everything I do.
This year has also reminded me that changing conversations takes time. Progress rarely happens overnight. It happens one conversation, one question, one woman at a time.
Looking ahead, my vision for PreservHer is bigger than where we are today.
I want fertility education to become something women access long before they're in crisis.
I want earlier conversations, greater awareness, and a future where understanding your fertility is viewed as a normal part of healthcare, not something reserved for when you're struggling to conceive.
There is still so much work to do, but today I'm taking a moment to celebrate how far we've come in just one year.
To every woman who has attended a webinar, downloaded a guide, shared a post, asked a question, trusted me with her story, or quietly followed along - thank you.
You've helped build something that I truly believe is making a difference.
Happy 1st Birthday, PreservHer.
